Sarah was the daughter of Ephraim Dayton of Fairfield, she was the first wife of Capt. Thomas Harris. They had ten children:

3. Ruth Harris, b. 1734; d. 17MAR1782; married John Bower.

6. Abigail Harris, b. 1742; d. 18DEC1785; married Daniel Powell and Levi Stratton.
7. Isaac Harris, b. 1745; d. 17OCT1775
8. Bathsheba Harris, b. 1748; d. 06JUL 1814; married Henry Brooks.
9. Amariah Harris, b. 1750; d. 28MAR1793
