Mrs. Lydia Strawn Phillips, widow of David W. Phillips. died at her home at Spraggs, Wednesday, July 12 1933, after a year's illness. Mrs. Phillips was a daughter of Joel and Deborah Spragg Strawn, and was born in Wayne township, where she resided all of her life. She was a member of the Spraggs Methodist Protestant church. Two daughters and a son survive, Mrs. John Stewart and Mrs. R. A. Phillips, of Pine Bank, and Dr. George W. Phillips, of Morgantown, W. Va.
