Lois J. Eichhorn, 90, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Chaffee, Mo., died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born April 19, 1919, in Allenville, daughter of Robert N. and Myrtle Bryne Amos. She and Marvin Z. Eichhorn were married July 20, 1940. He preceded her in death July 20, 2000.
Lois worked at Craftsman Independent Union in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and the Daughters of St. Ambrose in Chaffee.
Loving survivors include three daughters, Deanna Peterman, Carol (Fred) Kelley and Janet (Tom) Gaddis of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Saundra Elliott of O'Fallon, Mo., Jeff Peterman of Barnhart, Mo., Robyn Turner and Blake Gaddis of Cape Girardeau; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Max Amos of Jackson; and a sister, Mary Dannenmueller of Chaffee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, two sisters, a grandson and a son-in-law.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery at Chaffee.
