OPAL HOLLCROFT GENTRY
---Opal Hollcroft, daughter of O.P. and Sarah Hollcroft, was born February of 1901, died May 3, 1924, being at the time of her death twenty-three years, two months and twenty-nine days of age.
---She was married to Pearl J. Gentry December 24, 1920 and to this union were born three children, Bernice, Jerald and Manford. She also leaves her father, mother, five sisters and three brothers, Oza Walker, Carrie Easley, Sadie Walker, Goldie Gray and Miss Grace Hollcroft, Herbert and Owen of this vicinity and Tilden of Wyoming, and many other relatives and friends.
---She professed a hope in Christ and united with the Baptist Church at Gifford at the age of seventeen years.
---The funeral services were conducted at the Christian Church Sunday, May 4, by the Rev. C.F. Acree of Kirksville and she was laid to rest in the Indian Hill cemetery.
