William Owens Gann, age 56, of Grenada, died Saturday, February 8 at Grenada Lake Medical Center. Funeral services were held Monday, February 10 at Houston Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Chickasaw Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Donnie Wooten officiating.
The son of the late Nelson Frank Gann and the late Frannie Lou Criddle, he was an employee of Granthan Oil Company of Grenada. He was born in Chickasaw County and lived most of his life in Houston.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sunshine Lyles Gann of Grenada; one daughter, Mrs. Linda England of Grenada; three sons, Jeff Gann and Mike Gann, both of Grenada and Russell Gann of Ft. Huachuca, Arizona; one sister, Miss Ruth Gann of Houston; one brother, Curt Gann of Houston and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Junior Criddle, Mahlon Gann, David Criddle, James Horace Kilgore, Bobby Louis Gann, Wilburn Gann, Joe Criddle and Wilburn Allen..
Houston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
