Mr. Williams worked for Kelly-Springfield Tire Co. in Fayetteville before retiring.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Crossroads Coumminty Church in Whispering Pines by the Rev. David Bibey. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Deborah H. Williams of Vass; a son, Michael Williams of Vass; three daughters, Heather Waitley and Elizabeth Reynolds, both of Vass, and Terreasa Farmer of Abingdon, Va.; two brothers, Thomas Williams of Hope Mills and Johnny Williams of Shallotte; and a grandson.
