DELL CURTIS
---G. D. "Dell" Curtis, ill for several months, died December 3rd at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Faye Bloom, in the Illinois Bend neighborhood, at the age of eighty-seven. He had been living there for the past four months.
---Curtis was the son of David and Mary Rutherford Curtis and was born on the old Curtis homestead.
---He was married to Lillie Dawdy and to this union one daughter, Faye, was born.
---He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his wife and daughter who cared for him during his long illness; one sister, Mrs. Alta Sullivan of Denver, Colorado; one brother, John K. Curtis of Ft. Collins, Colorado; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives.
---Short funeral services were at the home of the daughter Sunday afternoon, December 5, at 2:00. Burial was in the Canaday Cemetery.
