Henry Hillmann, age 97, formerly of Brillion, died Tuesday, October 24, 2000, at Chilton Health and Rehabilitation Center, where he was a resident.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2000, with the Reverend Ross Henzi officiating. Burial will be in the Potter Cemetery.
He was born February 26, 1903, in the town of Rantoul, son of the late Carl and Auguste (Riemer) Hillmann. He was married May 14, 1925 to Esther Wenzel. Mr. Hillmann farmed in the town of Rockland until 1964, and did carpentry work in the area for many years.
He was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Brillion.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Delores and Cyril Schwalenberg; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Janice Hillmann, Reedsville, and Frederick and Antonia Hillmann, Brillion; 18 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Mildred Hillmann, Brillion; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Esther on December 11, 1981; three great granddaughters, three sisters and three brothers.
Friends may call at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 235 West Water St., Brillion, from 9 a.m. on Friday until the time of service at 11a.m. The Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion is assisting the family , with arrangements.
