Services were held today in Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Ryan presiding. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Mr. Kimmel was born Oct. 12, 1906, in Richland County, the son of George and Laura (Herrin) Kimmel. He married Loda Mitchell Nov. 14, 1941, and she survives.
He was a shoe worker in Olney and later worked as a pipefitter. He was a member of the Unitarian Church and attended Mt. Pleasant Church. He was also a member of the IOOF lodge in Olney.
Other survivors include a brother, Urice, Olney; two sisters, Mrs. Virl (Roellen) Kesler, Olney and Mrs. Elza (Lee) Wyatt, Seminary community and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
