John W. Will, 75, of 1702 N. 7th street, well-known Sheboygan insurance and real estate agent, died Sunday at St. Nicholas hospital after a brief illness. A native of the town of Herman, Mr. Will was born Oct. 23, 1874, the son of William and Magdalene Will. He attended rural school and on May 14, 1901, was married to Miss Antonia Burkhardt, of Sheboygan, at Holy name rectory by the late Rev. Dominic Thill.
Mr. Will entered the barber trade as a young man and for several years operated the Foeste hotel barber shop. Then he became associated with the General box company and a short time later entered the real estate and insurance business continuing in that work until his death. He was a member of St. Clement's church and the Holy Name society of the church and was a member also of the Sheboygan County Insurance Agents' association.
He leaves his wife; two brothers, William of Colby WI, and Andrew of Mellon WI, and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Blank of Milwaukee and Mrs. Josephine Bergmann of Reedsville. One sister, Mrs. Gustav Olm and two brothers, Joseph and Cornelius preceded Mr. Will in death.
Funeral services will be at St. Clement's church, Rev. John J. Carroll, pastor of St. Clement's Church will be the celebrant of the requiem high mass and burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
