Cornelius Will, aged 65, long time resident of Sheboygan County, passed away at his home in Town Herman across the road from the old Will homestead Thursday, following a short illness. Mr. Will was born June 27, 1866, on the Will homestead and attended St. Joseph's school and the public school at Town Herman. Later he assisted his father on the farm, leaving for a short time for Milwaukee where he took up the butcher business. From there he went to Walla Walla, WA, where he worked for several years, later returning to work with his father on the farm.
On May 11, 1892, Will was married to Miss Tillie Manthey of Milwaukee, which union was blessed with four children. One daughter, Helen, passed away at the age of four years.
Besides his wife, Mr. Will is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Oscar Hanke and Mrs. Frank Nennig, Town Herman; one son, John C. Will at home; three brothers, William Will, Colby; Andrew Will of Mellon, and John Will of Sheboygan; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Blank of Mellon, Mrs. Tina Olm and Mrs. Josephine Bergmann, both of Reedsville.
Funeral services will be conducted at St. Dominic's church here, with Rev. George Knackert officiating. Burial will be made in the Will lot on Calvary cemetery.
