Mrs. Opal B. Tracy of Clarendon died in an Amarillo hospital Sunday, June 3, following a heart attack.

The daughter of Mrs. S.S. Coleman and the late Mr. Coleman, she and her parents lived on their ranch west of Wellington about 20 years before moving to Clarendon in 1973.

Born at Parnell December 3, 1913, she graduated from Turkey, then attended Clarendon Junior College and graduated from Wayland Baptist College, Plainview, with honors.

In 1942 she married Herman Tracy, who preceded her in death.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Clarendon.

Survivors include her mother; one sisters, Mrs. Harvey (Norma) Jones of Clarendon; two nephews, Sammy Jones of Clarendon and J. Lynn Jones of Amarillo; and a niece, Judy Jones of Austin. A sister, Mrs. Howard (Inez) Jones of Wellington preceded her in death.
