CORRIGANVILLE — Rosalie Douglas Fleegle, 80, of Corriganville, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at the WMHS-Braddock Campus.
Born March 11, 1929, in Ridgeley, W.Va., Mrs. Fleegle was the daughter of the late Robert Edward McClellan and Ethel Marie (McKenzie) McClellan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Forrest C. Fleegle Sr., on March 13, 2002, as well as three brothers and five sisters.
A homemaker, Rosalie is survived by her sons, Forrest C. "Frosty" Fleegle Jr. and his wife Nancy, of Mount Savage, Stevan W. Fleegle, of Corriganville, and Bradley S. Fleegle, of Big Pool; her daughters, Deborah F. Lyddane, of Corriganville, L. Diane Hollar and her husband Lynn, of Monrovia, and Tracy A. Waldron and her husband Gary, of Atlanta, Ga.; her sisters, Betty L. Huff and Melba E. Herath, both of Cumberland and JoAnn Eror, of Cresaptown; as well as 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ted Marsh officiating.
Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.
