Born May 27, 1918, in Ridgeley, W.Va, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. McClellan and Ethel M. (McKenzie) McClellan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Davis, Dec. 31, 2001.
Mrs. Davis was a member of the Centre Street United Methodist Church, a former member of the Business and Professional Women's Club and a member of the Cumberland Country Club.
She is survived by her son, Randolph L. Davis, Royal Palm Beach, Fla.; and her sisters, Dorothy Williams, Frostburg, Betty Huff, Cumberland, Melba Hearth, Cumberland; Jo Ann Rodehaver, Cumberland and Rosalie Fleegle, Washington, D.C.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, ( www.adamsfamilyfuneralhome.com) on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004, from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Lloyd McCanna officiating.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Burial Park.
