CUMBERLAND - Dorothy B. Williams, 89, of Cumberland, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007 at Memorial Hospital.
Born April 6, 1917 in Vale Summit, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. McClellan and Ethel Marie (McKenzie McClellan. She was also predeceased by her husband, Frank R. Williams in 1981; one son, Timothy Wayne Williams; four sisters; Velma Bowman, Marie Davis, Elwanda Biggs, Alma May Boggs; three brothers, Robert McClellan, Ferman "Bud" McClellan and James McClellan.
Ms. Williams was a member of the Cumberland Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Surviving are four sisters, Betty Huff, of Cumberland, Melba Herath, of Cumberland, Rosalie Fleegle, of Corriganville, and Joanne Eror, of Cumberland; two grandsons, Rodney Williams, and wife, Becky, of Cumberland and Brian Williams, and wife, Lori, of Hagerstown; four great grandchildren, Kandise Williams, Philip Williams, Matthew Williams and Emily Williams.
Friends will be received at the Hafer Funeral Service, P.A., Chapel of the Hills, 1302 National Hwy., LaVale on Wednesday, Jan. 17, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Chapel of the Hills on Thursday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. with Elder John Richmond officiating.
Interment will follow in the Frostburg Memorial Park, Frostburg.
