Mrs. Don H. Riley, 48, Houston housewife and former Gatesville resident, died early Tuesday in St. David's Hospital, Austin.
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the First Methodist Church in Gatesville, Rev. A. K. Marney officiating. Burial was in the Restland Cemetery with Scott's in charge.
Pallbearers were Jack Wicker, Ross Roberts, Lee Blanchard, Juber Gates, Josh Logan and Evan McDonald.
Mrs. Riley, the former Miss Clara Emma Kelley, was born in Coryell County June 1, 1913, and lived in Gatesville until moving to Houston 18 years ago.
She was married to Mr. Riley May 26, 1949. They moved to Burnet a year ago.
Mrs. Riley was a member of the West University Methodist Church in Houston.
She was also a member of the Norma D. Allen chapter of the Eastern Star and S.O.O.B., Assembly No. 81, in Houston.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Bill Riley of Burnet; a daughter, Donna Clara Riley of Burnet; her mother, Mrs. Arthur Kelley of Gatesville; two brothers, Floyd Kelley of Houston and Lloyd Kelley of Bedford; and four sisters, Mrs. Dicie Adams of Turnersville, Mrs. Jane Gattis of Roswell, N. M., Mrs. Marjorie Baize of Turnersville and Mrs. Curtis Joe Spradley of Goldthwaite.
