EMIL O. SCHULTZ

Emil 0. Schultz, aged 76, well-known local resident, passed away at the Memorial hospital in Sheboygan at 6:50 a. m. Monday, following an illness since May 9th.
Mr. Schultz was born in Germany May 22, 1865, and came with his mother to the town of Schleswig, Manitowoc county, in 1874. In 1886 he married Alvina Koeppen of the town of Meeme, and the couple lived at School Hill for three years, in Sheboygan two years, and 47 years in Kiel.
Mrs. Schultz died March 31, 1922, and a daughter, Thekla, died in August, 1925. A carpenter by trade, Mr. Schultz built many homes here.
He is survived by the following children: Seven daughters, Mrs. William Stolter, Sheboygan; Mrs. Albert L. Wagner, Mrs. Paul Nottke, Mrs. Otto Strade, and Mrs. Henry Gebhard of Kiel; Mrs. Richard Horst of Manitowoc; and Mrs. William Bauman, Glenview, Ill; four sons, Ferdinand H. of Sheboygan Falls; Emil F. of Kiel; Oscar of Chilton, and Richard of Manitowoc; 26 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren survive him.
