Martha Eichelberger married Clark Johnson on 30 March 1882. He preceded her in death. They were the parents of six children.

Services for Mrs. C.W. Johnson, Sr., 90, member of a pioneer ranching family in Young County and Graham were held at the family home, 401 North Oak Street officiated by Rev. Joseph I. Patterson, pastor of the First Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. J.C. Johnson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Johnson was active in the civic and church affairs of Graham for many years. She was a charter member of the First Methodist Church in Graham and the Woman's Society of Christian Service, having been a member of these organizations for 72 years. She set an example of a Christian living in her church work. Her parents were prominent ranchers and landowners of this area. She moved to Graham with her parents in 1878.

Survived by three daughters - Mrs. John Gay, Mrs. J.R. Ramsey, Mrs. Carrie Crouch; one son C.W. Johnson, Jr; three grandchildren - Miss Alyne Crouch, Miss Jane Johnson, Mrs. Lucile Slaughter.
