Hinrichs Louis Eden, son on Hinrich B. Eden and his wife, Ida, nee Bosten, was born July 5, 1888, near Belvidere, Nebraska, and was received in the Christian church by infant Baptism.

At the proper age and after due instruction in the Christian faith, he renewed his baptismal vow on April 13, 1902. His Confirmation took place in Trinity Lutheran Church, where he also had been baptized.

The deceased, resided all his life at his birthplace - the farm some miles northeast of Belvidere. He was a dutiful son, a loving brother, a good neighbor, and faithful to his Church throughout life.

About 18 months ago, his health began to fail noticeably. Last winter he spent some weeks in the hospital in Lincoln. But getting little, if any, relief there, and desiring to be with his brother, he came home. And with exemplary devotion his brother took care of him to the end. It pleased the Lord God to call him hence last Saturday morning, June 5, 1943, at the age of 54 years and 11 months.

His demise is mourned by his brother, Ed, the only living near relative, a number of cousins and his friends.

His parents and his older brother, George, preceded him in the realms of eternity.

Funeral services were held at Hinrichs Mortuary and at Trinity Lutheran Church with interment at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
