Harvey E Stevens, 76, Grimes, died at Centerville Hospital Friday following a 2 week illness. A retired railroad worker, Mr Stevens lived in Des Moines for more than 20 years. He was a member of the Highland Park Christian Church.

Surviving are 3 sons, Orville, Des Moines, Faye, Cedar Rapids, and Verl of Waukegan, IL. three daughters, Mrs RA Phares, Des Moines, Mrs WA Andrew, Grimes, and Mrs Ralph Peacock, Des Moines; three brothers, Charles, Pueblo CO, Pearl, Lincoln NE; and Orin, Cincinnati OH; a sister, Mrs Dan Freel, Exline; and eighteen grandchildren.

Services will be 2 pm Sunday at Christian Church at Exline. Burial will be in Exline, Iowa.
