My paternal grandfather Frank Kruta was adopted by his stepfather, James Kruta. His father remains unknown until we someday get a Y-DNA match.
Due to his very rare haplogroup with no matches at all for four years as of 10/14, it is very likely his father was of Swiss Romansch heritage where his rare haplogroup is found at its greatest frequency. The Romansch are a very rare group constituting only 1% of the Swiss population in southeastern Switzerland.
