Gladys Halsey Lewin, age 81, of OKC, died March 12, 2010. She was born September 9, 1928 in Roanoke, AL to Cecil and Connie (Henry) Halsey. She married Clifford Herbert Lewin on August 2, 1954 at Columbus, Ga. They raised five children while Clifford was in the military. Gladys was a retired Cosmetologist from Eckerd Drugs. She loved the military life and being a soldier's wife. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents and a son, William K. Lewin. She is survived by her husband, Clifford H. Lewin, of the home; daughter, Glenda Ann Hufnagel of Norman, OK; daughter, Brenda Jeanette Pruitt of Duncan, OK; son, Dennis Lewin of Plainfield, IL; and son, Edward Duane Lewin of Sandwich, IL; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; 4 sisters and a brother and other family and friends. Services to celebrate her life will be 11:00 am, Monday, March 15th, at Buchanan Funeral Service Chapel, with interment 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 16th, at Ft. Sill National Cemetery.
