Mrs. N. M. King, formerly a resident of Adams County, passed from this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. A. Barker in Halbrite, Sask., Canada, Tuesday, September 7, 1920, aged 81 years, 8 months, and 8 days. The body was brought to Corning the latter part of last week and the funeral services were held at the M. E. Church in Quincy, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, and the body laid to rest in Quincy Cemetery.
The home of Mr. and Mrs. King was formerly in Adams County, they having resided in Douglas Township for some time. Mr. King was at one time a member of the board of supervisors of our county. About thirty years ago the family moved to Texas. Later Mrs. King went to Canada to the home of her daughter. Beside her husband who is now in Los Angeles, California, Mrs. King is survived by the following children, Mrs. F. A. Barker of Canada; Mrs. A. C. Strait of Adams County; Gus King of Shenandoah; Mrs. D. S. Myers of Webster City, Iowa. Many friends here regret the passing of Mrs. King and sympathize with her loved one in their loss.

DIED IN CANADA
Mrs. Noah Morgan King, formerly a resident of Adams County, Iowa, passed away from this life at the home of Mrs. Frank A. Barker, in Halbrite, Sask., Canada, Tuesday, September 7, 1920, aged 81 years, 8 months and 8 days. The body was brought to Coming the latter part of last week and the funeral services were held at the M E church in Quincy, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, and the body as laid to rest in Quincy cemetery.
