MRS. FANNY BARKER
Mrs. Fanny Barker passed away suddenly at the home of her son in Oakville, Manitoba, Canada on April 2, 1962. Mrs. Barker was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Noah King. She was born December 15, 1871.
She was married to Frank Barker on December 8, 1891. The resided in Corning, Adams County, Iowa until 1905. At that time they moved to Clarks, Nebraska, and from there they moved to Oakville, Manitoba, Canada in 1915. Seven children were born to this union, all of whom live in Canada except the youngest son, Eldon, who resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her eldest daughter, Fern, preceded her in death in 1914, and Mr. Barker in 1956.
Survivors are four sons, Floyd of Saskatchewan, Canada, Willard and Enoch of Oakville, Manitoba, Canada, and Eldon of Las Vegas; two daughters, Mrs. James Brady of Winnepeg, Canada and Mrs. Jim Hubley of Manitoba, Canada; 22 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Barker was a devoted mother and a wonderful Christian person.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 7, 1962 at 2 P.M. from the Roland Funeral Home in Corning, Adams County, Iowa with Rev. Virgil Peterson officiating. Music was by Mrs. John Narigon and Mrs. H. H. DeVore. Pallbearers were Floyd Barker, Enoch Barker, Eldon Barker, Willard Barker, Kenneth Barker, and Delbert Leet. Interment was in the Quincy Cemetery, Adams County, Iowa.
Relatives attending from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Billy Myers, of Buffalo Center, Iowa, and his sister Ada of near Des Moines, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Stewart and Mrs. Hazel Smith of Nevada, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Strait of Gallatin, Missouri, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Gourley and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Patterson all of Red Oak, Montgomery County, Iowa. Also all of Mrs. Barker's children from Canada and Las Vegas.

BARKERS OF OAKVILLE TO CELEBRATE 63RD WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Barker of Oakville, Manitoba, will celebrate their 63rd Wedding Anniversary, Wednesday, December 8, when a family reunion has been planned. The couple came from Clarks, Nebraska in March 1914 and have lived in Oakville 30 years. Their seven children are, Floyd of Lintlaw, Sask., Willard and E. Milton of Oakville; Eldon of Keno, Nevada, Fern, Mrs. J. P. Thomas, who died in 1914; Mrs. James Brady, Yale Avenue, and Mrs. Lucille Nault, Redwood Avenue. There are 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Both Mr. and Mrs. Barker are in good health and active. Mr. Barker is 84 years of age and Mrs. Barker is 82 years.

BARKER FAMILY REUNION HELD
On Saturday, May 23, in the Oakville Community Hall, descendants of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Barker held a family reunion. All the sons and daughters were present: Floyd of Sturgis, Sask. Willard and Buster (E.M.) of Oakville, Pat (Eldon) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA; Lucille Freeman of Winnipeg, and Eunice Stevens of Silverton, Oregon, USA.
A noon meal and supper both in the pot-luck form, were both enjoyed by all present. As well as a time of visiting and reminiscing, musical entertainment was provided by Step MacKay. Some took part in a sing song.
The following families were present, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Freeman, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Foster, son Norman, two granddaughters, Kathy and Patricia, Don King, Mr. and Mrs. Steve MacKay, Debbie Barker, all of Winnipeg.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Dalrymple, Lou Ann, Darren, Kirk, Kent, and Lane, Willard Barker, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Barker, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Barker, Leslie, Darrell, Cindy, and Karren, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Barker, and warren, all of Oakville.

W. Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Bourdeir, Kim and Kerilee, all of Dauphin, Manitoba, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Stevens, Silverton, Oregon, USA.
Special guests were cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard King, of Murdo, South Dakota, USA, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Strait, Berthold, South Dakota, USA. Many nieces and nephews were uncle to be present.
