She was born May 28, 1902, in Charlesburg, a daughter of Joseph and Frances Becker Hoffman.
Her marriage to Otto Gebhart took place June 3, 1924, in Charlesburg. The couple farmed in the town of Chilton. Mr. Gebhart died in 1977.
She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Charlesburg.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Elroy (Dolores) Kasper of Chilton, Mrs. George (Mary Ann) Cullen of New Holstein, and Mrs. Edward (Rita) Schmitz of New Berlin; two sons, Carl and Don Gebhart, both of Chilton; 17 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were two sisters and three brothers.
The concelebrated funeral Mass was at St. Charles Catholic Church. Celebrants are the Rev. David Christel, the Rev. John DeGroot, and the Rev. Irwin Matt. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
