Julia VanderArk (nee Verwolf) was transferred by our merciful God from her earthly existence to her heavenly abode on Friday, January 5, 2001.

Surviving are her husband of 63 ½ years, John and children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and several devoted nephews and nieces. Her children with spouses are Bonnie and Ronald Stuk, Karen and John Wynbeek, Lynda and John Witte, the late Garry Barendse, and Patricia Roek. Grandchildren and great grandchildren are: Christopher and Cindy Stuck, Timothy and Ann Stuk (Andi, Elli), Matthew and Amy Stuck, James Wynbeek, Julie Wynbeek, Joseph and Patty Barendse (Jacob, Mitchell, Andrew), Nathan and Debbie Barendse (Neiland, Kendra), Sarah Barendse and special friend, David Wolters.

Funeral services including committal will be held Monday 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Raybrook Manor with Rev. James Molenbeek officiating. Interment will be at Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the VanderArk Family Scholarship Fund of Calvin College.
