DEATHS - James Higgins
The body of James Higgins, 85, who passed away at his home in Rochester, Mich., Jan. 4, was brought to Cass City for burial Friday. Rev. Charles Bayless, pastor of the local Methodist church, offered prayer at the grave.
Mr. Higgins leaves a son, A.H. Higgins, of Cass City and two daughters, Miss Matie Higgins, who lived with her father, and Mrs. Nora Price, of Oxford.
Miss Higgins and Mr. Price accompnied the body to Cass City.
Note: James & Harriet were parents of twins born 1885. Maud C and Claude M. Claude died 25 Aug 1885 at 1 month 13 days old (Put DOB @ 12 Jul). Maud C died two years later, one record showing 15 Jul 1887. Births & deaths both probably Cass City as far as records indicate.
