Lorraine C. Twaroski, age 72, Birnamwood, town of Norrie, died Sunday, April 22, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

She was born February 16, 1935 in Birnamwood, the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Trumm) Kaufmann.

On May 15, 1954 Lorraine was united in marriage to George Twaroski in Birnamwood. He survives.

She was a member at St. Philomena Catholic Church, Birnamwood, and a member of the Christian Mothers. Lorraine enjoyed knitting, baking, crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, George, survivors include 12 children, George J. (Sonja) Twaroski, and their children Erik, Kirk, Jason and Ryan, Manitowoc, Cheryl (Jim) Fine, Menomonie, Cliff (Nita) Twaroski, and their children, Monica and Matt, Vadnais Heights, MN, Laurel (Chidi) Chidozie and their children, Laura, Kristina, Nnamdi and Uchenna, Eden Prairie, MN, Scott Twaroski, Manistee, MI, Joe Twaroski and his children, Angela, Alex and Rebecca, Birnamwood, Jim (Melissa) Twaroski, Atlanta, GA, Joannie Twaroski, Wausau, Mary (Warren) Wenzel and their daughter, Cassie, Wausau, John Twaroski and his daughter, Kyleigh, Wittenberg, Dave (Lou Ann Nettekoven) Twaroski and their children, Amelie and Anya, Kaukauna and Bob (Kathy) Twaroski and their children, Lizzy, Cora and Danny, Cameron, WI; one sister, Marion (Ed) Matz, Birnamwood; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Don) Hanke, Eland and Helen Kaufmann, Wausau; and one brother-in-law, Tony (Sylvia) Kunst, Stevens Point.

In addition to her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by two brothers, Al and John, two sisters, Bernice and Theresa, mother and father-in-law, Hilda and James Twaroski and sister-in-law, Gerri Kaufmann.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at St. Philomena Catholic Church, Birnamwood. The Rev. Everard Scesney, O.F.M. will officiate. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 9AM until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials given to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, Marshfield would be appreciated.
