Mrs. Alvina Ninmer, age 94, a former Town of Schleswig resident, died early Tuesday morning, March 29, at Calumet Medical Center, Chilton, where she has been a patient the past three day.
She was the former Alvina Wriedt, born May 8, 1893 in the Town of Schleswig, the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Radder Wriedt. She attended district schools and married Edwin Ninmer on September 10, 1912 at Bethlehem United Church of Christ, the Town of Schleswig. Alvina's occupation was housewife and she and her husband farmed in the Town of Schleswig until their retirement. Her husband died February 4, 1982. She was a lifelong member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ and its Ladies Aid Society.
Survivors include two sons, Clarence (Arlene) Ninmer, Kiel; Merlin (Doris Mae) Ninmer, rural Kiel; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Viola Ninmer, Kiel; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Caroline Wriedt, Sheboygan, and Mrs. Alvina Wriedt, Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one infant son, Raymond, seven sisters and two brothers.
