"REBECCA PEEPLES CLAIMED BY DEATH
The death of Mrs. Rebecca J. Peeples, 90, in Glendale, Calif., had removed Friday another figure from the ranks of Arizona's pioneers.

Mrs. Peeples, widow of the late A.H. Peeples, lived in Arizona nearly all the early days of her life. Peeples Valley, near Prescott, was named for her husband.

A brother, Silas Cavaness, and a sister, Tina Morrell survive.

Mrs. Peeples' father, the late Jerry Cavaness, was a well-known pioneer in Prescott, Wickenburg and Phoenix."
