Kisiah married Jeremiah (Caveness) Cavaness in 1837 in Benton Co., AR. Jeremiah used the spelling Caveness until he was in Mason County. Upon his migration to California in about 1861, he then used the spelling Cavaness. To this union were born these known children: Martha Ann, Susannah, Matthew Lewis, Sarah Elizabeth, William Henry, Rebecca Jane, Amanda, Lewis Heath, Silas Edmond and Christina Rachel Cavaness.
Kisiah died of small pox after 1874, actual date unknown. Kisah's husband, Jeremiah also died of small pox shortly after Kisiah, in July or early August.
