Rawson - Betty E. Hilty, 80, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Rawson, died at 6:25 a.m. May 7, 2010, at Grand Rapids Care Center in Grand Rapids.
She was born April 30, 1930, in Rawson to Dwight and Elizabeth Garmatter Deeds, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Hilty was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Bluffton High School and Bliss Business College, Columbus.
Survivors include three sons, Jim (Vicki) Hilty, of Grand Rapids, John Hilty, of Urbana, Ill., and Joseph Hilty, of Fort Myers, Fla.; a granddaughter, Angela Hilty; and a sister, Bonnie Pfohl, of Sarasota, Fla.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Minard, Samuel and Donald Deeds; and a sister, Marjorie Deeds.
Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday in Clymer Cemetery, Mount Cory. The Rev. Kevin Mohr will officiate.
Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Bluffton.
