Funeral services for Mrs. Leo (Dorothy) "D.D."
DeVall, 82, will be at 3 p.m. today, Feb. 24, from Our Lady Help of
Christians Catholic Church.
Monsignor Vincent Sedita will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery under the direction of Matthews and Son Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 10 a.m.
Mrs. DeVall died at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, 1998, in her residence.
She was a native of Vacherie and a former office worker for Bell
Telephone. She was a charter member of the Catholic Daughters of
America and a member of the Ladies Altar Society.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, James and Andrew DeVall,
both of Jennings; one daughter, Mrs. Victor (Mary) Blair of Lafayette;
two brothers, J.L. "Buddy" Hotard of Baton Rouge and Dale Hotard of
Jennings; three sisters, Mildred Hotard, Mrs. Larry (Leona) Foley and
Mrs. John (Noelie) Buller, all of Jennings; five grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild.
