.. Dwight Steinmetz, 61, was dead upon arrival at Mercy Hospital at 6:30 a.m. today after a heart attack at his home on Range Line Rd.
.. He was a Morgan Township farmer and carpenter and a member of the Hopewell Church.
.. Survivers are his widow, Mrs. Mildred O. Steinmetz; a son, Larry R. of Mount Vernon; one granddaughter; his mother, Mrs. Sophia Steinmetz of Mt. Vernon; a sister, Mrs.Lee Calhoon of Mount Vernon; and two brothers, Arthur of Route 3 and Ross of Springfield.
.. Friends may call Tuesday from 2 until 4 and 7 to 9 o'clock at the Dowds Funeral Home where the funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev David M. Liscomb will officiate and the burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. TJD2013
