Funeral service for Andrew (Andy) Walter Cox, 79, of Route 1, Tuttle, was held Tuesday in the First Baptist church
of Tuttle with pastor Steve Black & Rev Alvin McConnell officiating. Mr Cox was born 12/22/1900 in Vance, TX, and
passed away Saturday afternoon following a short illness.
He came to the Tuttle area some 40 years ago from
Sherwood, TX and has worked as a farmer and dairyman most of his life, retiring in 1968.
He and Josie Allie Welch
were married 7/26/1921 in Vance, TX, and she preceded him in death 5/30/1973. He was a member of the First
Baptist church of Tuttle.
Interment was in Fairview cemetery, Tuttle, under
direction of Sevier's Tuttle funeral home.
