GONZALES -- Frank T. Gonzales, 84, a lifelong resident of Socorro, surrounded by his friends and family, went to be with Jesus and his beloved wife, Dessie, on Thursday November 13, 2008.
He is survived by his family; son, Michael Gonzales and wife, Gloria, of Belen, NM; daughter, Teresa Epps and husband, Ronnie of Ceres, CA; daughter, Frances Ramos of Albuquerque, NM; daughter Debbie Baca and husband, Roy, of Socorro, NM; daughter, Geralyn Cutchall, of Socorro, NM; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Gonzales, of Socorro, NM; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Other survivors include, brother, Max Gonzales; sister, Linda Griego; sister, Prescilla Saavedra and husband, Eustaquio; sister Josie Torres, and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends who loved him and will miss him.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, J.B. Gonzales and Teresita Trujillo Gonzales; grandparents, Frank (Tante) Trujillo and Gertrudita Trujillo; brother, Johnny Trujillo; sisters, Concha Gianera, Irene Garcia, Ramona Trujillo, and Gertrude Long; and grandson, Danny Epps.
A Christian Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Family Christian Center, 1016 Fowler St. W. Hwy 60, Socorro, NM.
A Viewing will also be held at the Family Christian Center on Monday, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Veterans Administration (VA) National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM, on November 17, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Pallbearers will include Darrel Epps, David Ramos, Victor Ramos, Joseph Cutchall, Ronnie Epps, Roy Baca, and Salomon Montano.
