Richard T. Carter, 52, of 4133 S. 17th Street in Lincoln died Friday morning, March 22, 1968, at Lincoln Veteran's Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past two years. Before his illness, Mr. Carter was an employee of the State Department of Roads.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred, the former Mildred Sothan of Fairmont; two sons, David, Lincoln and Richard Jr. of Warrensburg, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Clarence Delaney of Lincoln; six brothers, Edward of Lincoln; Carroll of Vinita, Okla.; Russell and Harry of Seattle, Wash.; Norris of Spokane, Wash.; and A. Birchard of York.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Ropers Mortuary, Lincoln. Burial was in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
