Lizzie ReeseMrs. Lizzie Reese, nee Lizzie Koepp, passed away this morning at her home in New Holstein following an illness of three months duration.Born in Cedarburg in Nov. 21 1889, the daughter if Mr. And Mrs. Louis Koepp, the family moved to the settlement known as the Lime Kilns north of New Holstein and she attended the Lime Kilns school.She was married to William Reese in 1908 and they resided on a farm east of Potter for many years. Her husband died in 1932.Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Sylvester (Mary) Toebe of Green Bay and Miss Betty at home; six sons; Fred of Brillion, William of Elkhart Lake, Martin of Kiel, Richard and Robert of New Holstein and Ervin at home; one brother, William Koepp of Chilton.Mrs. Reese was a member of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed church of New Holstein for the past 15 years and also a member of the Woman's Guild of the Church. She served as janitor of the church for five years, beginning in 1941.Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral Home and at 2 o'clock at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church. The Rev. J. R. Seidler will officiate and burial will be made in the Potter cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from Fridaynoon until the time of the services.
