Latillie "Tillie" was born July 3,1910 in Watonga,Oklahoma.The daughter of Walter Lewis Clark and Mary Margaret Rollins.At the time ofher birth she had one brother Walter Virgil Clark born September 5,1908 in Watonga,Oklahoma.Later three sister were born all in Watonga.Mary Ruth,born October 21,1911,Cordelia Mae,born January 24,1915,Virgina Dean,born May 15,1919.and three more brothers Francis, born November 21,1916,Carmen Edward, born October 8,1921 and John Lewis, born November16,1923. Latillie attended school in Watonga,Oklahoma.At the age of 19 Tillie was a waitress in a cafe in Watonga.Years later the family moved to Webster City,Iowa for a short time.Then moved to Tillamook,Oregon and on to Portland.
Tillie was married to Aaron Sylvester Snider.They lived in Portland,Oregon for awhile. Later the couple moved to Roseberg,Oregon.And lived with Aaron parents,in a house that was build by Aarons father.Tillie and Aaron took care of his parents. Aaron's father William pasted away in 1953 and his mother in Irene passed away in 1963.After the loss of Aaron's parents the couple continued to live in the house until Aaron passed in 1969.Leaving Latllie to live alone at the house.She turned the home into a boarding house.Later her brother Ed Clark came to stay with her.He had lived in Hawaii for several years.And desided to return home to family.
Tillie became ill and was placed in a care center in Roseburg,Oregon.She passed away on October 21,1992.
At her request she was cremated and buried with her husband Aaron.At Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
