Albert W. Fischer, 83, a retired farmer, died late Tuesday morning after suffering a heart attack at the home of his son, Milton, in Town Rantoul.

He was born March 24, 1869, in Town Rockland, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gottfried Fischer, and prior to his retirement was engaged in farming in Town Rantoul for 47 years.

Mr. Fischer was a member of the Evangelical United Bretheran Church at Rantoul.
Survivors are four sons, Milton of Rockland, Alvin of Route 2, Hilbert, Helmuth of Town Rantoul, and August of Collins; a duaghter, Mrs Albert (Clara) Enneper, Brillion; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and two brothere, Emil of Town Rantoul, and Leonard of Town Rockland.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Evangelical United Bretheran Church at Rantoul. The Rev. Gordon Gore, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Luecker Funeral home in Brillion from 2 p.m. Thursday until 10:30 a.m. Friday, and at the church from 11 a.m. until the hour of services.
