August William Fischer, age 85, of Chilton Village Nursing Home, formerly of Collins died Friday, Nov. 15, 1991 at Calumet Medical Center, Chilton, after a long illness.
Funeral services were Monday at Faith United Methodist Church, Brillion with the Rev. David Werner officiating. Burial was in the Brillion Community Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 6, 1906 in Rockland, son of the late Albert and Emilia Pingel Fischer. He married Hazel Barlow June 30, 1934 in Rockland. He farmed and was a cheese maker and worked for Larsen Canning Company until retiring in 1984. He is survived by one sister, Clara Enneper of Brillion; two brothers, Helmuth Fischer of Brillion and Milton Fischer of rural Brillion.
He was preceded in death by his wife on April 24, 1986 and two brothers.
