Swansea lived near his daughter Eliza Burrow who is buried at Mt. Prospect Baptist Church, Wedowee, Randolph County, Alabama. This church was built in 1852. The family said he was buried at a churchyard in Wedowee and we believe it to be this church. His grave appears to be unmarked, however. His wife Rebekah Scott Wier lived with their daughter Molly Wier Speights in Fulton Co., GA., in 1880 and died about 1880-1990 there. She is probably buried near Molly.

Death date (possibly June 1, 1871) since one researcher claimed he died June 1, 1851 (source not stated).
We know he definitely died between the 1870 census and the 1880 census.
