The family said he was buried at a churchyard in Wedowee and we believe it to be this church. His grave appears to be unmarked, however. His wife Rebekah Scott Wier lived with their daughter Molly Wier Speights in Fulton Co., GA., in 1880 and died about 1880-1990 there. She is probably buried near Molly.
