Pansy Webb was one of five daughters borne of the union between Lee Hampton Webb (1864-1912) and [Sarah] Willa (Gatlin) Webb (1867-1943) in Cordele, Dooly County, Georgia, on July 8th, 1893. Dooly County was renamed Crisp County when she was a child. Her father was a merchant who had married her mother in 1889 in Houston Co., Georgia. They owned the home by the time the 1900 Census was taken in June 1900. Her parents would have nine children, but only seven lived to adulthood. Her father, a merchant, died Sep 1st, 1912 at the age of 48 years. He was buried at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele. Pansy married Russell Todd Fisher while he was living in Washington, D. C., following World War 1. They became the parents of three children during their marriage, Anne W., b.@1922, Patricia M., b.1928, and Willa T., b.1929. By 1930, they had their own home and were living in Quincy, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts while Russell worked as a textile engineer for a cotton company, per the 1930 Census, the only census I was able to find for the family. Her husband died in July, 1963. Pansy lived until Jan 23rd, 1977. Her remains were sent back to Georgia and she was buried at Sunnyside Cemetery, Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia, nearby her parents and many other relatives. May she Rest Peacefully in Paradise.

She was my father's paternal aunt.
