Mrs. Sada B. French, 89, resident of Portland since 1878, died at her home, 1725 Northeast Forty-third Avenue, Saturday.
Mrs. French was born in Iowa in 1849, and crossed the plains via covered wagon to California, later coming on to Portland in 1878 where she has since made her home.
She was married to Benjamin F. French in 1880 here. Mr. French died in 1928. Survivors include a son, Taylor French; a daughter, Edna Imhoff, both of Portland; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at Holman & Lutz funeral parlors Monday at 10 A.M. Interment will be in Lone Fir Cemetery.
