Emelia Mertens, 88, die yesterday in Parkview Memorial Hospital. The Fort Wayne native was the widow of Ernest, who died in 1978, and a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Surviving are daughters, Lorna Franke and Dorothy Springer, both of Fort Wayne, and a grandchild.
