Obituary - The Lamar Democrat, June 7, 1976
Mr. Paul Edward Jones, 65, Greenfield, died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday after suffering an apparent heart attack while attending church services at the Greenfield Assembly of God Church, of which he was a member.

Mr. Jones was born April 7, 1911, in Dade County, and was a lifetime area resident. He was a retired mill laborer having worked for the M.F.A. Milling company at Aurora and Springfield.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis O'Brien and Mrs. Lovonna Evans, both of Golden City; five sons, Morris Jones and Robert Jones, both of Greenfield, Eddie Jones, Carterville, David Jones, Lamar, and Jody Jones, Miller; a sister, Mrs. Thelma Guinn, Greenfield; two brothers, Carl Jones and Clarence Jones, both of Greenfield; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Greenfield Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Clyde Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Pennsboro Cemetery, south of Greenfield, under direction of Canada Funeral Home, Greenfield.
