Mrs. Mattie Borland Pennington, aged 90, wife of E.A Pennington, of No. 37 Greenway Drive, Little Rock, formerly of Arkadelphia, died Friday April 6 in the Baptist medical center in Little Rock. She was a member of the Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church at Dalark.

Survivors beside her husband include three sons, Earle E Pennington of Idabel, Okla., Claude M. Pennington of Morton, Pa., and Guy S. Pennington of West Monroe, La.; three daughters, Mrs. Vera Neal of Wichita Falls, Texas, Mrs. Mertis Hicks of Little Rock, and Mrs. Maxine Byers of Buna, Texas; one brother, Ras Borland of Malvern, and one sister, Mrs. Verda Parker of Little Rock; twenty three grandchildren; and thirty seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Virgil Lowrance officiating. Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery by Ruggle-Wilcox Funeral home.
