Mrs. Christiansen of Manitowoc dies at Wausau
Mrs. Charles P. Christiansen of 311 N. 6th St., Manitowoc, died last night at Wausau of a stroke. The body will be brought here for burial which will take place probably on Monday afternoon with the Rev. A.W. Barnlund officiating. The deceased was born 68 years ago in this city and lived here all her life. Born Emma Houghton, she was married to Charles P. Christiansen 48 years ago. He survives with six children and six grandchildren. The children are Mrs. A.F. Schultz, Wausau, Mrs. David O'Connell, Milwaukee, Mrs. George Carbon, West Bend, Mrs. R.V. Mansen, Madison, Harold Christiansen, Manitowoc and Dr. Charles Christiansen, Milwaukee. Four brothers, Will Houghton, Walter Houghton, Frank Houghton and Charles Houghton of Manitowoc, and four sisters, Mrs. August Backman, Mrs. Robert Runge, Mrs. Charles Allen, Manitowoc and Mrs. J. Serles, Milwaukee survive.
