John Richardson, living near Nind in Walnut township died of cerebro spinal meningitis Thursday and was given burial Friday. One of his children, three years old, died of acute indigestion Monday morning and report attributed the
death to meningitis also. Two other members of the family, however, have been attacked and the home is under close quarantine. Mr. Richardson had been visiting in Kansas City, and became ill soon after returning home. The family
is in destitute circumstances, and the county court has taken the matter in hand and ordered a nurse from Kansas City. Dr. Conner, the health officer, hopes to confine the disease to the Richardson home.
