(16); James (15); Orray (male, 14) [sic -- I suspect this is daughter Arrie Irene]; Missouri (12); Marrion (male, 11); Henry (9); Jesse (6); and Louis (male, 2).

Married 18 JUL 1870 in Russell County, Alabama, to Meredith C. or J. CURLEE. Appears as Ora CURLEE (b. ca. 1852 in GA, both parents b. in GA) in Muscogee Co, GA, 1880; Irene CURLEE (b. APR 1850 in GA, both parents b. GA), had borne 8 children, 3 still living, in Big Sandy District, Chattahoochee Co, GA (1900) - her unmarried sister Julia A. MOTE (born January 1829 in Georgia) is present in the household; and Arria CURLEE (b. ca. 1858 GA, both parents b. GA), had borne 8 children, 4 still living, in Bibb City, Nances District, Muscogee Co, GA (1910). Homemaker.

Burial record from the sexton's ledger book shows: Mrs. Arrie CURLEE [COLLEE added above it] was born in Columbus, Georgia (but also says Alabama), died aged 63 years at the "Old Ladys Home" of valvular heart disease, and was buried 21 MAR 1919 in Section 2, Lot 963 1/2. The sexton was Emory JEFFERSON.

"Deaths and Funerals....Mrs. Arrie CURLEE // Mrs. Arrie CURLEE, age 62 years, died Saturday morning at 2:30 o'clock at the Old Ladies Home, after a short illness. Survived by two sons, Claude CURLESS [sic], of Columbus, Ga., and Carl CURLEE, of Chattahoochee county; one daughter, Mrs. Alice WATTS; three sisters, Mrs. Susie BUCHANAN, of Phenix City, Mrs. Lillie HOLLEMAN, and Mrs. Fannie PORTMAN, of Columbus; one brother, Jeff MATE [sic - MOTE], of Columbus, Ga. Funeral will take place this afternoon at 3:00 o'clock, Rev. H. STEVENS, of North Highlands M. E. church, officiating. Interment will be in Linwood cemetery." Rev. H. STEVENS, of the North Highlands Methodist church, conducted the service and the interment was in Linwood cemetery. The following were the pallbearers: Messrs. V. A. COX, J. D. RUFFIN, J. W. This lot is counter-corner to the fenced DAVIDSON lot (city 2-1017 / Autry A-135), where Leah (CURLEE) DAVIDSON and Mary (CURLEE) HEARN have graves that are not identifiably marked.
